What To Wear on A Hot Day: Summer 2011

It has been an extremely hot summer so far, and I know there are days where you just don't know what to put on with an attempt to stay cool, so here's an outfit idea! Where I am, it has been above 90 degrees everyday for the last two months, and this look definitely works for those hot days. A pair of shorts, they can be denim or a different fabric, a loose fitting t-shirt, wedge heels, and your accessories to match. This look will keep you cool, and still keep you stylish. Your shoes and accessories will basically make up this look, so make sure you highly accentuate those things with bright colors and funky heel shapes!

Summer Trend Alert: The Maxi Skirt 2011 & How to Wear It

So if you been keeping up with your favorite celebrities you may have noticed that they love the maxi skirt! The maxi skirt or dress is always a classic in women's fashion, it truly never goes out of style but at some point it does get a little more trendy! The maxi skirt is very comfortable, but keep in mind it will accentuate your bottom and hips especially if you find one in a jersey knit fabric (like shown). I would advise wearing flats or wedge heels with this type of look, because adding a stiletto heel to a maxi skirt may give you an unflattering or 'too sexy' look!
