I was out doing some shopping for my little girl in Target, and I came across the Harajuku Mini for Target collection by designer Gwen Stefani. I absolutely fell in love with the clothes I saw for the little girls, and the prices were not bad at all. The most expensive piece I saw was about $19, but the collection overall is very high fashion and trendy. I am always looking for cute and trendy clothes for my toddler, and this collection fits the style of clothes I'm always looking for!

Did You Get Anything Good on Black Friday?
Did you survive Black Friday shopping, and were you able to get what you wanted? I personally did not get too much for myself because I just couldn't do the crowds this year! I did a little bit of shopping for my baby girl, and I stopped in H&M, Forever 21, and Charlotte Russe for myself. I was going to do a haul, but I don't think it's worth it. I got a sweater and pajamas from Charlotte Russe, a really cute cut out sweater from H&M, and from Forever 21 I bought: jeans, a faux fur jacket, and two tops. Nothing was really discounted heavily so I didn't bother with doing more than that, I think I'll have a better shot on Cyber Monday with some online shopping. How was your Black Friday experience?

What To Wear to Thanksgiving Dinner 2011
The holidays are here again, and if you have no idea what you are wearing to Thanksgiving dinner I have an outfit idea for you! I put together this look for Thanksgiving dinner, and it's a classy look with a touch of sexiness. The black pleated skirt from H&M is somewhat vintage, but cute and the silk bow blouse is very classy and perfect for being around family and friends. The suspender tights are trendy and sexy, but it will give your look some edge and you won't look like a "librarian". I would wear a very high stiletto ankle boot, and choose accessories to compliment the colors of your outfit, but not too "matchy". The Chanel chain earrings, and gold rope bracelet ties in well with the entire look and the gold accents will off set all of the black you are wearing on the bottom.
*Tip - Skirts and dresses are great for Thanksgiving dinner because they usually have some elastic or spandex that will allow you to eat and not have to loosen buttons or zippers!

Versace for H&M Collection: SOLD OUT
After months of built up hype, fashion shows, previews, and parties the Versace for H&M line was finally launched in the US yesterday. The line was released in the UK on the 17th of November and the stores sold out in 30 minutes, and the same thing happened in the States, but I was there to witness it with my own eyes! I have been keeping an eye on this line since I first heard about it, and it didn't hit me until I saw the London release that this is going to be crazy and you will be lucky to get your hands on any of the pieces.
Shopping the Versace for H&M collection came with rules and restrictions, and people camped outside of H&M's across the world to be apart of this...including me. I went to the H&M in Atlanta (Atlantic Station was the ONLY store with the collection) around 3:45 am for an 8 am store opening. Some people had been camped out since 4:00 pm on Saturday and I thought "you must be crazy!". When I arrived I was about number 65 in line which wasn't bad, so I stayed. Some people were in sleeping bags, on laptops, iPads, or just doing whatever they could to stay busy, awake, and warm. I took my blanket and pillow and sat around talking to a few girls I was close to in line and after 3 1/2 hours we finally were told to stand up and get our "bracelets". Each person got a color coded wristband which had your shopping time slot, a 15 minutes only slot, and they were only given to you if you were shopping the women's collection. At 8 am the doors opened and it was like watching a reality show where contestants were racing to get the items they wanted. When the first group of 20 people were allowed in the shopping area, it was pandemonium. Garments were flying off the racks, mannequins were being attacked, it looked as if that first group was going to buy the entire line within minutes. However, with the restrictions you were only allowed 2 pieces from the same collection in different sizes, so most of what they grabbed was put back. I was originally in the 3rd time slot group which was at 8:45am, but somehow I got lucky and traded someone for their 2nd time slot band which allowed me to get in 20 minutes earlier, and I got exactly what I wanted. I went in grabbed about 2 pieces of each item I wanted without looking at the size, and when I realized one thing wasn't my size I looked around for other people with the same item and checked their sizes, eventually I traded with a girl who needed the x-small I had in exchange for the medium she had. Prices ranged from $30-$300, and by 9:00 am the entire collection was sold out, thankfully I was at home back in bed by then happy with the items I purchased!
[I'll do a Youtube video to show some of the crazy footage I got.]

Versace for H&M Men's Bomber Jacket Seen on Kanye West and Swizz Beatz
If you read my previous post on the Versace for H&M release, then you may have noticed I didn't mention the men's collection. Well there was a line of men just as long as the women's line, and they all seemed to have their eyes on the same item; the bomber jacket seen on Kanye West and Swizz Beatz. The men did not need a wristband to get into the store, it was first come first served and they rushed those jackets which were gone in the first five minutes. I saw most guys buying two of $129, black velour with printed sleeves, bomber jacket and I knew the reason was to resell them! You can now find this same $129 Versace for H&M jacket on Ebay from $500 up to $750, that is more than quadruple the original amount, wow.

Shoe Pick Of the Day: Alexander McQueen Armour
The late great designer Alexander McQueen is known for is fabulous "out of the box" designs, and this shoe is definitely a McQueen masterpiece. The Armour Wedge Heel, is 5 1/2 inches tall with a platform and the zig-zag designed wedge is made completely of metal. This shoe is definitely for one that can do some major splurging because it cost a whopping $4,425! Um wow.

The 2011 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show was taped last night in New York, and it looks like it will be a very entertaining show this year. With performances by Nicki Minaj and Watch The Throne stars Jay Z and Kanye West, this will probably be one of the biggest ratings yet for Victoria's Secret annual Fashion Show.

Shoe Pick Of the Day: Alain Quilici Payson Skate Lace-Up Booties
A very pregnant Beyonce inspired today's Shoe pick of the day, and it is definitely an interesting shoe! The $1,180 lace-up skate booties designed by Alain Quilici gives the illusion of an ice skate that you're walking on. Beyonce was spotted rocking the skate booties in New York along with a leopard print Alexander McQueen scarf, red wool blazer, and skinny jeans.
If you have been following my blog, you know I had another skate bootie on my "SPOTD" a while ago by Jeffrey Campbell !
