Instead of your dress shimmering, buy glitter accessories to add the shine you want! You will stand out more because every girl will be wearing shiny dresses, and people will be more likely to compliment you on your beautiful accessories. Look for oversized glitter clutches, and of course your heels should be sexy, high, and shimmering. You can also find bracelets and earrings with glitter to add more shine to your look, even glitter eye shadow will give you an extra glow for the night. Just remember that you can't possibly look good if you are too intoxicated to walk, so drink responsibly and have a fun, safe night. Happy New Years!

Mariah Carey looks absolutely adorable in this Loro Piana Sloane cape, as she was spotted in Aspen celebrating the holiday. I love capes, but they have to worn correctly and I like how Mariah switched out the original belt from the cape and added a bit of flare to it. Love & Hip Hop co-star Emily B is in the new issue of PYNK Magazine, and she shows off her expensive taste in shoes! Emily stated that as a stylist she starts with a pair of shoes as her inspiration and then "work her way up around that." With a ton of Christian Louboutin pumps, I can see what keeps her from being stressed...shopping! Emily said she once spent $5000 on one pair of crystallized pumps, but she would never spend that much on a pair of shoes again. With NYE right around the corner, it's time to start looking for that perfect dress! New Years Eve has to be one of the best nights for partying, fun, and looking fabulous. If you are a budget-nista like most of are these days, I will give you some ideas on how to look great for NYE without breaking the bank.

Dresses are my top pick for your NYE look, you can get away with pants or shorts maybe, but I would say start with looking for the right dress. Bodycon dresses are great for nights like this, and they come in so many styles that range from sexy to classy. The four bodycon dresses I chose are all under $50 and will give you a sexy look, but with the right shoes and accessories your sexy look won't be portrayed as trashy. You can expect everyone to be wearing dresses that shine and shimmer this year, so if you want to be a bit different pick something in a solid color without sequins or glitter on it. That doesn't mean your shoes can't sparkle! I would wear silver glitter, stiletto heels and a matching clutch with any of the dresses shown which will give you the right amount of shine.

After losing 70 lbs, Mariah is back on the scene and she was showing off her new body in London where she was set to receive her Noble Gift Award. She was out signing autographs and taking photos for her fans, in her leather knee high boots that were fabulous!

Monica Brown did a taping for a BET Christmas special, and she was spotted wearing the same Lanvin dress Beyonce wore to the MTV Awards when she infamously revealed her pregnancy. Monica has been shutting down pregnancy rumors for months, but I can personally say I saw Monica a few months ago and she definitely look like she had a little baby bump, and she sure does look like she's glowing in this white Lanvin gown.
